We did it, folks! Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers, The Multicultural Centre of SWFL successfully hosted their 24th Annual Big Backpack Event!
A special thanks goes out to our presenting sponsor, Neal Communities, and the many generous business, individual and media sponsors who make this event possible each year.
Together, we provided 2,000 Lee County students with free backpacks, school supplies and bags of groceries provided by Midwest Food Bank of Florida and Community Cooperative.

Fly 98.5 provided the DJ and entertainment to keep up the BIG energy while hundreds of cars waited and drove through the car line.
We had lots of our community's first responders helping direct traffic, engage in conversation and distribute supplies from the Fort Myers Police Department, Fort Myers Fire Department and the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
We are so very thankful to our 200+ volunteers that came up and showed such big enthusiasm and willingness to sweat it all out, in support of the children in our community!
