Description
The 2024 Total Solar Eclipse is here! The path of totality doesn't cross over us, but we will still get a ~53% coverage in Lee County, FL!
****REMEMBER: YOU MUST WEAR SOLAR GLASSES WATCHING THE ECLIPSE - Sunglasses are not strong enough and you could still damage your eyes!****
If you don't have NASA verified solar glasses, then make a pinhole projector with your kids. If you order early enough, you may still be able to get some from Amazon or Walmart!
The eclipse will start for us around 1:43pm.
Maximum Eclipse (maximum coverage of the sun) will be around 2:59pm.
The eclipse will end around 4:13pm.
