Does your child struggle in school or at home? Do you need help learning how to advocate for your child’s rights? Is your child headed to college and needs a quality 504 plan written? Are you tired of not knowing what to do to help your child? The Education Advocates team is comprised of teachers, tutors, and experts dedicated to furthering the education of young students everywhere. We strive to ensure all students get fair and equal access to education at all levels. We provide each family with an individualized strategic plan, attend meetings with parents and provide genuinely helpful resources to guide them through the pivotal steps of their educational journey.

Advocacy Services

Our goal in providing advocacy services is to empower parents to be able to advocate for their student. It is not uncommon for school staff to be unfamiliar with what services and supports are available for students with disabilities, to try to employ a one-size-fits all approach, or to fail to really listen and address the concerns of the family. Parents should be active and informed members of any group that makes educational decisions for their child. We will help you be an empowered and informed parent.

Our Mission

EAA’s mission is to assist families having difficulties with the school system and educate the community on rights for all children’s education. We excel in helping children with special needs achieve their full potential, both academically or behaviorally in school and at home.

Legislative Advocacy

The creation of public policy involves sharing of information and viewpoints with elected and non-elected officials at all levels of government. Since you probably know more about the issues of concern to you, your family or your organization than most elected officials, sharing your knowledge with them is a useful way to contribute to the political process. Given that elected officials must respond to those they represent to stay in office, it is constituents who often have significant impact on public policy.

Remember, if you do not reach out to educate your elected officials on things of importance to you, those who are opposed to your perspective certainly will!

Business Review

"I can’t even begin to explain the peace of mind and security we felt having Jamie by our side through the IEP process. Every question was answered in a way that I could understand. I’m sure I’ve asked the same questions repeatedly and Jamie takes her time explaining each and every step. I’m a proud Mama bear and I LOVE having someone on our team who will fight for my child’s educational rights as hard as I will. She’s went above and beyond for my son and as a parent of a child with special needs, the security I feel having her on our team is absolutely priceless."

"Having an advocate that is so well versed in the school system and one that fights so hard for your child takes all the stress away during an IEP meeting. If you don’t have an advocate for your child, get one. We are so thankful for all the help Jamie with Education Advocates of America has given us!!!!! My son has a one on one para and will be getting gifted services. We were told these services would be impossible.  We have been awarded all the accommodations my son needs to succeed at school thanks to EAA."
