Little Hands Happy Hands is an early learning childcare. Our program is intentionally structured to support deaf/hard of hearing children, and occasional services to support children with autism. Our Values are based on respect, inclusiveness, and quality care! We focus on learning through play, while also having structured time to facilitate skills that are expected in school. From babysitting, part time care, tutoring and more- We try our absolute best to tend to the needs of each individual child in our care to help them for the future!

I grew up in a deaf household and identify as CODA - Children of deaf adults. My mother was born deaf, therefore my first language was sign language. When I was four my mother received cochlear implant surgery and was able to hear. I still vividly remember her flushing the toilets purposely for a week just to hear the sound. Life began anew as I started talking more than signing to help my mother with speech. This lifelong journey -still to this day is what created my passion to help others. I explored different areas of what I wanted to do- I went to school in North Carolina for my interpreting degree, I then started my journey on becoming a special education teacher. I got my degree in Early childhood development and started working in daycare centers, home centers, headstart and nannied. I still felt that it wasn't enough. I then became an assistant instructor at a school specialized for kids with learning disabilities. I loved it ! I loved seeing the progress of my students' work and knew this is what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to make a difference in children's lives- specifically those with disabilities such as my mother. Challenging but rewarding work! I then did a career change and became an aba therapist. In which I still practice currently, however I'm ready for the next step in my life. I am opening up my skills, love and knowledge to children in the way I believe they should receive!
