Fun Free or Low Cost Events & Activities for Families in Fort Myers & Fort Myers Beach

By Lexi Snyder, Macaroni KID Fort Myers - Fort Myers Beach April 12, 2025

Every week, Macaroni KID Fort Myers - Fort Myers Beach shares our picks for five things to do with your kids in Fort Myers & Fort Myers Beach over the coming week.

Click on the links for all the details!

1. Splash Pad Play Date @ Babcock Ranch with The Mom Walk Co of Fort Myers -  Monday, April 14th 10am-12pm

We are a group of mamas who meet weekly (most months) to walk, have coffee, build community, play, run around, and create new friendships. We are here to encourage one another in this season of motherhood, make new mom friends, and build our village one walk at a time!

We will meet at Palmetto Park and let the kids run around the splash pad. It is fenced in. There is also a playground right next to it, if that is more your jam.

2. Music & Movement Class @ GCTC - Tuesday, April 5th 10:30-11am

These fun, family music-making classes will be held in our courtyard (near the playground and GameTime).

Each child will engage at their own pace in activities such as singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing, and exploring musical instruments. Small instruments will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own. Please remember to bring a towel or blanket for seating.

Spots are limited, and pre-registration is required.

3. Cornhole Night @ Millennial Brewing - Tuesday, April 15th 6-9pm

Come down to Millennial every Tuesday for our weekly Cornhole Night! Featuring money games, blind draw tournament, prize games and tons of fun! All ages, casual environment and all indoors! Presented in partnership with our friends at Back of the House Cornhole!

4. Lakes Park Farmer’s Market - Wednesday, April 16th 9am-1pm

Join us on Wednesdays for the Lakes Park Farmers Market. The market is located at Lakes Regional Park in Fort Myers, Florida. We are open, 9am - 1pm, through the end of June. The outdoor market place features goods from local farmers, producers and vendors such as: fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, honey, meats, cut flowers, prepared meals, bagels, guacamole, BBQ, cheeses, baked goods, native plants, artisan foods, gluten free products, art, crafts and so much more. We truly have something for everyone. Parking is FREE while shopping at the farmers market.

5. ๐Ÿ“šPreschool Mini Golf @ Lakes Regional Library - Thursday, April 17th 10am-2pm

Calling all junior golfers!  Let’s play golf inside the library.  For ages 2 to 11 years. No registration, but space and supplies are limited.
