It can be kind of daunting when you are in the party planning process, yes? You have to think about food, drinks, entertainment, fun, games, decorations, seating, tables, and more. Just thinking about preparing for a party makes my anxiety skyrocket, yet we still do it -- for the kids! Right?
I was provided with a complimentary bounce house rental, for the purpose of this article and review. All opinions stated are my own.
I recently contacted Xiomara Bartle, from Celebration Events and Rentals, about a "back to school bash" that I was planning for my children and their classmates. My goal was to have the two classes (preschool and 2nd grade) get together outside of school, to be able to hang out together, no gift exchange necessary, no stress for the other parents, just a time for all of the kids to relax and get to a comfortable state with each other.
I thought it would be fun to have a mobile petting zoo and a bounce house to entertain the kids (and adults). So, I took a look at Celebration Events and Rentals' website. I perused through their inventory, and low-and-behold, not only did they have inflatables, but so many extras as well! They offered inflatables, decorations, tables, chairs, tents, you name it! Before looking at their inventory page, I didn't even know that I would need to rent a table or chairs, but since they were available, heck yes! *Adds to Cart*
I looked through the huge selection of bounce houses, slides, wet/dry combos, and I finally decided on the Tropical Wet/Dry Combo bounce house and slide. I thought that this would be the perfect inflatable to accommodate a diverse range of kids ages 4-8, boys and girls! And the bonus is that if it is hot outside, it can be used with a hose as well! *Adds to Cart*
Now, we didn't quite need any other decorations, as it's not a typical birthday party, but instead a fun, private, mini-festival. It was wonderful to know that they had them, though! There are so many reasons for a gathering of people ... birthday parties, church festivals, charity events, corporate events, company picnics, school field days, grand openings, family reunions, Vacation Bible Schools, summer camps, and much more.
The communication with Xiomara and Celebration Events and Rentals was phenomenal! She was very responsive to emails and questions, and very helpful during the selection, drop-off and pick-up process. They communicated effectively the day prior to our event to confirm the drop off window of 7-8am. When they arrived, I walked Xiomara to our backyard to identify the space for the bounce house. Once we confirmed the space, I showed her where the outlets and hose were. After that, I did nothing! I asked if there was any way that I could help, and she told me that they'd get it all done and she'd text me to come back outside and review before she left.
Less than an hour later, they were all set up and done! They had a huge tarp underneath the bounce house, providing ample room for kids to remove and place their shoes, or just to prevent extra grass/dirt from being tracked in and out of the bounce house. She showed me where the hose hookup was and how to care for the blowers/bounce house should there be storms or rain. Then, when they left, she sent me a safety video via text and email to review and ensure I understood proper safety for it. Hooray!
Now that the bounce house was up and ready, it was a waiting game for party time. As soon as kids started arriving, they immediately wanted to head straight to the bounce house! Off with the shoes and into the bouncer they went! We had tons of play balls and beach balls that they enjoyed "shooting hoops" inside. They also loved the water slide addition because it was hot out, but also because it wasn't your average water slide. The slide led to a pool area for a landing zone! It was neat to have a pool area to be able to sit in when they needed a break from running around, climbing and sliding down.
Overall, the bounce house was a huge hit, and I am very glad we went with Xiomara and Celebration Events and Rentals. We had a fabulous experience, the kids loved it, and the communication was superb. I would definitely recommend renting from them for all your party needs! Water slide rentals are so much fun because you go quickly and cool down really quick. Kids will queue up to get these massive and brightly lit slides. The water slide is booked with water and electricity hook-up. The hose and cord will be provided, and in as long as they're within 50 feet.
We have many different colors and choices of large and smaller water slides. Make sure you choose the right one for your child's age and the number of guests. The majority of slides are able to accommodate 10-20 guests (as long as they don't mind waiting in line a bit). While smaller children may be apprehensive about tall slides All of our slides are able to accommodate 10-20 guests.
Our slides will be secured using either sandbags or stakes so they're secure and safe even in light winds.

Bounce houses are an extremely popular option for entertainment for kids all over the country. Bounce houses are fun and lively and can be a great entertainment option for corporate events as well as birthday parties. Our inflatable bounce houses allow children to have a lot of fun and are full of energy. Meanwhile, parents can relax and take in the fun with other adult friends.
Most inflatable bounce houses should accommodate 4-8 children at a time and the children should first get rid of their shoes. A bounce house should not be filled with water unless explicitly stated. We ask that you don't allow any sharp objects such as soap, toys, or even silly strings to be used in the bounce house.
It will be a wonderful experience for your children, and they will treasure the day. To make it easier for you to access the facility and exit most bounce houses come with an exit ramp with a safety feature. One of the safety features that is often offered is a security net that can be attached to a wall and an enclosed entry area.

- Select the product(s) you wish to rent, click "Add To Cart," and confirm the Date & Time of the rental prior to checking out.
- Read and electronically sign the contract/invoice and pay your deposit/balance online via the contract.
Contract
Celebration Events & Rentals provides a contract that needs to be signed prior to solidifying your rental with them. The contract lists basic rental details, such as: the date/time of the event, your contact information, an itemized receipt, and more. It specifies that there is a 48 hour cancelation notice without penalty, just like any other rental, hotel, etc. It also includes the waiver of liability, as all businesses have when they provide large products like bounce houses. If you were to go to a trampoline park, for example, you would be required to sign a waiver and release of liability prior to jumping - the same holds true with Celebration!
Bounce House Safety Tips:
- Always use with adult supervision
- Never leave children unattended
- Keep the inflatable away from heat and flames
- Talk to your doctor before use if you have a medical condition
- Keep children, fingers, toes, etc away from the blower
- Ensure the electrical source is safe for use
- Do not slide head first or stand up on slides
- Avoid rough play

Are your rentals clean?
Yes! All of our units are cleaned thoroughly. We are committed to making sure that your children are playing in a clean, well maintained, and safe environment. After each rental, every unit is thoroughly cleaned by commercial vinyl cleaners, disinfected, and sanitized. Once the unit is clean, it will be inspected to ensure cleanliness.
Do your units contain any lead in the vinyl and are they safe?
All of our units are made from 100% lead free vinyl. Safety is not an option, it’s a REQUIREMENT, and the safety of your children is our #1 priority.
What type of parties and events do you provide rentals for?
Everything! Our units are a perfect addition to any party, event, or celebration. You can find one of our vast selection of bouncers, water slides, and interactive units at occasions including but not limited to: birthday parties, church festivals, charity events, corporate events, company picnics, school field days, grand openings, family reunions, Vacation Bible Schools, summer camps, and much more!
Can I use a water hose on a bounce house?
Under no circumstances should water be used with any inflatable that is not designed for such use. However, there are inflatables designed for use with water. We will be glad to let you know what water units are available for you to rent for your event. We do provide a water hose (25ft long) if inflatable is further please have a water hose present.
Does the rental have to be set up on grass?
Our inflatables can be set up on grass, cement, concrete, asphalt, or even indoors with a different anchoring system available for every possible combination. When placing your reservation, please let us know on what type of terrain your rental will be installed. Inflatables that are setup on grass are anchored with long steel stakes, while inflatables that are setup on other surfaces or indoors are anchored with sandbags.
