Are your kids looking to become involved in a sport, but are undecided or unsure of which sport to choose? There are more mainstream sports available, such as soccer, football, basketball, etc. But have they considered specialized sports such as golf or tennis? Did you know that we have a program right here in Lee County that provides education, tools, and training for students to build golf and tennis skills?
TGA Premier Sports (TGA) is a sporting franchise found in 27 states, Canada and Spain. TGA offers introductory and recreational youth sports programs: golf, tennis cheerleading, flag football, floor hockey, lacrosse and volleyball. Because of the TGA Sports Foundation, more than 825,000 youth and 1.75 million families have been positively impacted by their educational sports programs since 2003. The programs offered promote physical activity, education, socializing and character-building within the sports for all children wanting to learn. TGA's unique franchise business model allows entrepreneurs to bring youth sports enrichment programs into their own communities, just like Brandon Baker has done in South Lee County.
Brandon Baker is the franchise owner of TGA Premier Sports (TGA) of South Lee County, which covers families in the Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero, Cape Coral, and Fort Myers areas. Brandon was the first TGA franchise owner in South Florida to teach golf! He moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Florida and realized that there weren't many youth sports offered. Growing up a passionate student-athlete, he learned that sports meant so much more than the game. Being on a sports team built camaraderie, and taught healthy competition, in addition to the actual game.
“Youth sports played a major role in my childhood development of life lessons and healthy lifestyle habits. I want to empower today’s kids with the pathway I was given as a child from youth sports to promote a healthy lifestyle and have fun!” - Brandon Baker
In high school, Baker played numerous sports. He was also offered a position on an overseas soccer team. As an adult, his love and passion for sports only increased. He participated in charity events, golf outings, and bike-a-thons. While working a regular 9-5 over the past few years, he came across TGA. Researching more about TGA (Teach, Grow, Achieve), he knew that South Lee County was the prime location for another franchise.
“I have noticed that more younger families are moving south as remote working allows more flexibility to live in their dream location. South Florida really fits that bill, and I am happy to be offering safe, fun, sports activities to all of our families,” said Baker.
TGA of South Lee County brought golf and tennis right to the hands of our youth via before and after school enrichment programs, camps, clinics, and family programs. Not very many students had ever thought of golf or tennis, and this program has given the sports a running start with the opportunity to grow involvement in the sports. It gives students a head start to learn about golf or tennis, build up their skillset for high school, and really hone in on their skills for college and beyond.
TGA provides all equipment necessary, at no extra cost. It also has its own custom golf equipment line at an affordable introductory price. Students are able to get involved with golf and tennis at community centers and schools, inside gymnasiums, hallways, cafeterias, fields, blacktops, and more.
Providing another outlet for our youth creates a healthier and safer environment for students. They are able to learn skill progression, educational subjects, STEAM labs, health, and physical fitness. TGA provides a well-rounded foundation for our kids to grow!

OUR PLAYER PATHWAY
From introductory programs at schools and community centers to recreational camps and leagues, each of our program offerings represents a step in our Player Pathway to help guide our parents and encourage our students to Keep Playing!®
We incorporate station-based athletic skill development activities, STEAM activities to explore educational concepts through sports, and key life lessons including teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance, and leadership.
ATHLETICS
Our programs align with the American Development Model (ADM) created by the U.S. Olympic Committee to help individuals realize their athletic potential and utilize sport as a path toward an active and healthy lifestyle.
ACADEMICS
We use sports as a vehicle for teaching academic lessons. Students participate in STEAM activities that allow them to creatively explore and relate concepts such as history, math, gravity, aerodynamics, and simple machines through the sports they are playing.
LIFE LESSONS
Through sports, we help develop values that promote individual growth and teamwork. By teaching lessons in sportsmanship, perseverance, respect, positive mindset and leadership, our young athletes are encouraged to make good decisions on the field, course, court and in life.
AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
6-10 week sessions // 3-4 times per school year
Hosted at pre-k, elementary and middle schools, community centers and parks & recreation locations
Parents enjoy the convenience of programs offered after school, while kids receive an introduction to sports, learn from trained coaches, develop skills, and build passion for the game.
Designed for all ages and abilities, our curriculum follows a progressive skill development so that students can set goals to achieve and progresses through our five level program at their own pace. In each class students rotate through station-based drills and activities that develop core skills and an understanding of the history, rules, etiquette, and vocabulary of the sport.
TGA of South Lee County currently runs Extended-Day Enrichment programs at the following schools and communities:
